I finally got around to taking the kids to this wonderful building this half term, I had taken them to the Flying boat restoration project shed a few years ago over by the dock. I was fascinated at the other information and artefact in this newer attraction. I bought a family annual membership as it was such good value and... More

It was a freezing cold evening but there was a large turnout for the talk. The atmosphere was excellent, the coffee and the exhibitions good, the talk better. A fine evening. Pembroke Dock is the home of the flying boat, the heritage centre is its beating heart.

This was a small, but interesting exhibition. There is a charge, about £12 per family and the visit will probably take you 1-2 hours. Interesting collection of flying boat history.

This is a very worthwhile visit to get a little bit of local history of the shaping of Pembroke Dock and its important role in the Battle of the Atlantic. Considering this is run by volunteers the exhibits are up there with the very best. The building is beautifully restored and the perfect location for the Heritage Centre. The staff... More

We had time to explore the Museum mainly dedicated to Sunderland Flying Boats which were based here during WW2 also some excellent models of diverse subjects, planes, boats, dioramas of local features in past times & many parts of Flying boats recovered by divers from... Though the main focus, quite naturally, is on WW2 and the flying boats, as a newcomer to the area I discovered a great deal about the history of the town and events that happened to it over the centuries. Knowledgeable staff. The only disappointment was a very poor cappuccino from the cafe - maybe the machines need a service! Well... More

Many thanks for your comments! I will certainly pass your compliments to our Front-of-House volunteers who answer questions and discuss the content of displays with our visitors, who I am sure will be delighted to hear them. I am sorry you were disappointed with the quality of the coffee from our coffee shop, this is something we are actively seeking... More
