Spent some time here popped in to destiny rising spiritual shop, the butchers, the baking shop, interior shop and food shop. All staff were so warm and welcoming in every shop. I walked around with a smile on my face. Recommend this little farm village highly!

It's nice to look around the little shops, especially if you come armed with extra cash. Lunch at The Bull Pen was nice enough but overpriced - £9 something for a jacket potato? And I had a prawn sandwich which wasn't that great, but I did have one of the best iced coffees I've ever tasted. People who visit are... More

There are some nice shops to visit here, but not if you are on a budget. Osprey had lovely handbags at reduced prices and you can get a leather bag at a good price. The farm shop has a cheese counter where you can buy cornish Yarg, which i found you cannot get in many places. The chutneys are also... More

An excellent fishmonger and farm shop with a delightful cafe amongst other retailers makes this a very pleasant place to visit. Enjoyable local walks all around are a pleasure.

The shops are good, butcher very helpful. The cafe is generally packed and very overpriced. They are trying to be more than a cafe but are just a cafe.

Very pretty local countryside shopping treasure. A selection of little individual shops, each with it's own charm, plus a restaurant. It's hidden away in the Hertfordshire countryside, but everyone know about it! Spend a while there, enjoy the village atmosphere, browse the shops.......meet friends, and make new ones. The restaurant has a good and varied choice of dishes, but quite... More

Visited this farm village and was very surprised at the array of quality shops. Quaint little food shop selling homemade cakes and biscuits that were delicious. A butcher's, a hairdressers, and a florist not to mention a very nice cafe with outdoor seating however beware the cafe is very expensive but worth sitting and having a coffee whilst relaxing. There is... More

Lovely place..good service..nice selection of food. The Pavlova in the glass case at the font desk had my attention as soon as we walked in..when it arrived it didn't disappoint. The food came quickly and was fresh tasting. The scones were a little dry, but lashings of jam and clotted cream sorted that out!! First visit..definitely not the last
