My wife and I were travelling with her parents around the British Isles and her father and I hoped to get in a round of golf. The weather didn’t cooperate in Kirkwall, but it was absolutely gorgeous in Invergordon. The course is ~1 mile away from the port, and an easy walk. The club does have rental sets for hire and a couple pull carts. A relatively short 6000 yards, there isn’t a lot of variety….mostly side-by-side meandering through beautiful countryside. The secondary rough is punishing and the greens rather undulating. The barmaid runs the course and won't be available early. Call a day ahead and check with her about availability. Rental sets have a few reasonable balls int them....if you're lucky, you might find a couple on the course. Recommended.

This is a walkable 18 hole golf course. Was fun to say we golfed at a reasonable price in Scotland. We walked from the Princess ship to the course. You can connect with the course through email. And they will pick you up and return to ship. The course is a fun type, but not overly challenging. But you are using their clubs and balls. Not quite comparable to St Andrews, but one tenth the price. We played nine holes and had a great time.

What a great little find in the Scottish Highlands if you're golfer this is perfect for a quick round of a cruise. It's only 5 minutes from The cruise terminal and they will pick you up if you've pre booked your round. At £20 it's great! Great views but then we had a perfect sunny day!!

Val and Jim were awesome hosts for our visit to the Invergordon Golf Club. For one price they offered a pick-up (and drop off) at the pier (as we came via cruise ship) set us up with a cart and clubs, 18 holes on a 125 year club's grounds and finished up with a nice smooth local whiskey. Wonderful people with a wonderful course. We had a fantastic time!!

My wife and I were scheduled to do a Princess Cruise that was scheduled to stop in Invergordon. So, in advance of the cruise, I booked this club online. It was delightful! First, they met us at the port and transferred us to the course about ten minutes away. My wife doesn't play so she was along for the ride. They provided 18 holes of golf, a cart, rental of decent Callaway clubs, and friendly service for 50 Pounds! About $65 US.....a real bargain. The course wasn't real difficult, but the views and the fact I was golfing in Scotland, was wonderful. Highly recommended.
