Excellent place to visit. Lovely house and gardens. Hidden gem. Cafe was good and an excellent selection of food and drinks on offer. Worth a visit.

This farmhouse was restored by Graham Baron Ash at the beginning of the 20th century. He collected from around the world, adding on a Gallery and turning a cow barn into a Great Hall

I had forgotten how pretty the gardens are here. Perfect for sitting, exploring, playing and picnicing. The house is beautiful. All of the wood panelling is very impressive. Great cafe. All staff really friendly.

We always find the NT cafe restaurant to be very good, but from memory several good pubs about!!

Hi, Dogs are not allowed in the garden but i think they are allowed in the woodland walk on a lead as there are sheep and deer in the wood. You can double check on line. The woodland walk is on the opposite side of the lane... More
