Great place with the wellie walk and lake. Great topiary garden and walled veg garden. Just make sure that they're open as lake walk isn't open currently. Walk to baddersy Clinton is nice too. Cafe isn't quick but none of the national trust places are!

Not the biggest house and not the most full of artefacts. The visit was made by the freindly staff and the feeling that the place was a home. The gardens are lovely, with the yew and box topiary being an especial delight. We thought about...More

Both the house and gardens are impressive and very well maintained. Many friendly staff make the trip even more enjoyable. Very good service in the restaurant and other amenities. Convenient access and parking.

Not family friendly. Staff member Carole was rude and abusive to our children when they went on the grass. They are only 1 and 3 years old. We were amazed the National Trust would employ someone like that. Other parents said the same.
