At the top of the market place, St. Gregory's is a fine old parish church and you can see teddies positioned at key places. Close to the organ, another on the pulpit steps and many others in windows and pews. Very adorable !

Visited the church, hoping for a tea in the church hall. However it was closed. Lady in the garden explained. Looked around the church. Lovely play area for children and what I loved was teddy bears dressed in various costumes with cards explaining various parts...More

attended a funeral service at this church, absolutely beautiful, peaceful church. worth a look around very old building steeped in history and lovely grounds.

This medieval church has some interesting features with wall painting, some very fine early Medieval carving and outside a fortified church tower which is relatively uncommon. An interesting stop - not far off A1

Very unusual to see a church fully open to the public throughout the day and based on trust, honesty box for purchases, had to visit because I was informed that there was Robert Mouseman articles inside

There has been a stone church on the site of St Gregory's since the 11th century. Some elements of the Saxon carving can still be seen in the crypt below the chancel as well as the nave. An arcade providing access to the north aisle...More
