Only 3km away from the centre of Zabljak, Malo (Small) and Veliko (Big) Lakes merge into Crno (Black) Lake. This lake is specific for its dark blue shade of water, which often seems black, and the effect is created by the Lake's depth and the dense Durmitor pine forest surrounding it.

Good 3.5 km walk around the lake means you can get away from the crowds. Worth swimming in smaller second llake at the back.

Short walk from Zabljak about 8 pm. The sky was crystal clear. I have particularly enjoyed the calmness and the silence around the lake.

Its a very beautiful and popupar lake, walking distance from Zabljak. We went here twice; one time just relaxing and the other time to walk around it and as a starting point for a hike to restaurant Koliba. Its very beautiful.

This lake is a highlight of the Durmitor National Park. It takes about an hour to hike an interesting and well maintained trail around the perimeter, and there are restrooms at the start of the trail. Because the lake is at about 4500ft elevation, the...More

The Crno lake is a beautiful blue lake surrounded by pines and mountains. The landscape reminds of Canadian parks. You take a short walk from the parking lot and sit at the lake, take a boat, a dip or walk around it. We did the...More

It only take 3 euros per person to get in which is really cheap! Once you get there you walk down a road towards the lakes. Once there you can see a beautiful view right in front of your eyes of mountains and the glacial...More
