Lovely village, plenty of wine bars to taste wines produced in the souring area such as the famous sassicaia and Ornellaia and several other excellent wines less famous but worth it! Lot of restaurant serving local food. We really enjoyed Bolgheri and you will too.

Bolgheri is a beautiful village, surrounded by the walls and the castle a medieval looking place with lots of little crafts boutiques, touristy places and great wining and dining places. Well worth a visit!

What a little treasure. Village is full of restaurants, boutique shops and happy people enjoying a wander. There are 2 small car parks for 1€ an hour. It's also the place to begin the cypress drive.

The only thing "cute" to see is the tree-lined street that inspired a poem by Carducci and the picturesque arched entrance to the hamlet. Upon entering you will lose all the magic, because at every corner are not simply signs that sponsor products for sale...More

If you are a Carducci poetry lover, you'll appreciate a quick visit to this little hamlet where the poet spent part of his early life. Leading up to the village is a very straight treelined avenue, ample parking (paid) can be found before the entrance...More
