What a wonderful, historic site occupying a spectacular and commanding viewpoint. They have done a wonderful preservation and restoration job here with a terrific back story and an example of the eclectic history of the island. The view is magnificent.

Theater still very beautiful and in good condition. Time has little impact. I do not know how much the man does for maintenance. There is not much of historical information. Anyway a tour guide was very nice and helpful to explain. Very nice view. With...More

When you're visiting the site, after you've seen the temple, make sure to walk up the hill and don't take the bus. It is a strenuous walk in the heat but it's well worth it. There are several other small archaeological sites that you can...More

Made a stop to this location. The view is awesome and well worth the stop. Seriously, even if its hot and you think no way do it. You may only be there once, so its worth it.

Great half day trip at low cost. See my review on this trip under the archaeological park, which includes both the temple and the theatre (and so there are three separate items being reviewed in TripAdvisor to confuse everyone).

I wish I had been a of Segesta anno 400 BC just to sit in this theatre a day watch a play with this magnificent backdrop. Absolutely stunning.

If you are visiting the temple down below, you must take the time to either hike or take the shuttle bus up to this theatre. It is certainly one of the best preserved that I've seen. The views are breathtaking, so after taking a ton...More
