Perfect for a picnic and run around
Jul 2019
This was the ideal place to stop for a picnic to break our journey across Brittany. There were picnic tables, space to run around, a lovely lakeside walk and a children's play area. And easily accessible from the main road.

Great place to stroll with the family, enjoy the play areas and get some fresh air. Kids loved the zip-wire and slide.

A great place to take a stroll around the large, picturesque pond and get some fresh air (and ice cream from the kiosk) with the family. You can enjoy a sit-down whilst watching the children play on the zip-wire, large tube slides, swings, balance beams, long under-path tunnels and more. The water adventure area is a real hit with children and parents alike, manual water-pump, hand driven turning wheels and scoop are all good fun.

A peaceful walk for all the family
Sep 2018 • Couples
On the outskirts of Loudeac this beautiful park is perfect for everyone, adults, children and dogs. There are 2 large free to park areas with excellent toilet and baby facilities.
The paths around the lake are level, clean and well maintained. With wildlife and flora around every corner this park is exceptional. The lake is also stocked with various fish for anglers but local licences may be required.
There is a large array of child friendly slides, swings and rope climbs for the more adventurous child along with safe areas for the younger ones.
Dogs are welcome and it is requested they are kept on leads and bags are available to clean up any mess.
For the more sporty visitor there are tennis courts and ball games areas which are in good condition and well maintained and again free of charge.
There is a cafe on site but the opening times out of season are limited.
This is a fantastic facility and worth several visits.

Afternoon walk
Aug 2018 • Friends
A great location, just outside the centre of town with plenty of free parking. Lovely grounds to walk around with several activities to keep younger ones amused. Lost nearly three hours here, on a sunny afternoon, just strolling around the lake, through carefully maintained garden areas. Several seats available all around for quiet reflection or just to stop & have a chat. Lovely picnic location. Cafe on site also. Would recommend a visit.

Worthwhile visit

We spent a couple of hours here and barely covered a quarter of the park. Lots to see and do for all the family.

Pleasant afternoon
Jun 2018 • Friends
On a recent grey afternoon, we visited the park for the first time and were very impressed with the innovative ideas for entertaining the whole family. Interesting information on the multitude of different trees, plants, bushes etc. and plenty of quiet places to sit and enjoy the peaceful scenery. Lots for children to do and a cafe for snacks etc. with friendly staff. Despite the miserable weather it was a pleasant way to spend an afternoon.

A very well kept park
Aug 2017 • Couples
This is a lovely park built around a fishing lake. There are tennis courts and a basketball court. It has a great kids' playground and other activities to occupy kids on the walk around the lake. There are wooded areas, a shaded bamboo walkway and other, well tended flower beds etc. This summer, they added a wild flower maze, where many varieties of wold flowers attract loads of insects. There are picninc tables and built-in BBQ sites, with a toilet block nearby. There is supposed to be a shop, but that is the only thing that lets the place down as it is rarely open. A restaurant / bar right net door is closed and for sale, so hopefully someone will buy that and open it, to complete the package.

A lovely park with activities!
Jun 2017 • Couples
This is a really well-designed park and suitable for all ages. The centrepiece is the lake where you can fish (permits from the cafe). There is a lovely path around the lake for a pleasant stroll or a jog. At intervals there are exercise points and play areas. The flowering shrubs look beautiful and a lot of thought has been given to the landscaping to make the area interesting. There are also changing rooms for sporting activities and there is a large car park, so plenty of space. All free!!!

A walk with the dog
Mar 2017 • Couples
This park, surrounding a lake, is fabulous. There are magnificent play areas for children, lovely landscaped grounds and flowerbeds. I can't think that this would have been created in the UK. Our municipal parks are in decline. This one in Loudeac shows what can be done.
