What more can you say - located en route from Estella to Los Arcos on the Camino trail you pass the Irache Bodega where a fountain delivers free red wine. Notices state this is limited to 100 litres per day, so visit early. I'm not...More

We enjoyed a bit of wine and appreciated the photo op. A bus load of tourists arrived at the same time, but didn’t stay too long. We were able to get a Camino stamp at the office, a nice perk.

Stopped by here on the way from Estella to Los Arcos during my camino to Santiago. It is about 30 minutes walk from Estella. It offers free wine and water to visitors. I was there in the morning (9 am) and only one other person...More

Where else can you find a free wine fountain? You can bring a container/cup/glass or buy a small glass from a vending machine on site. There are also some picnic tables, so we brought some meat, cheese, bread, olives, to enjoy with our wine. A...More

Only reason it does not get a 5 (which it actually deserves considering we were not expecting this and drinking good wine from a fountain is something we never thought we would experience) is that the webcam did not work.... which would have been awesome...More

Yes, it's free but not so great. BUT, when have you ever drank wine from a fountain? It is right on the Camino. The Bodegas Irache wine museum right around the corner is worth popping in-taste their good stiff and get a snack for next...More

How can you beat a fountain of wine! So happy that Bodegas Irache continues this wonderful tradition. Camino travelers sure do appreciate this stop, the informational material that is provided and the unique experience that it provides. Smiles all around!

The only problem was that the wine fountain was at the beginning of the day on the Camino. I should have had an extra container! I actually had a bottle of the wine that is produced there and it, like the wine out of the...More

This winery is bestowing the pilgrims of El Camino with a glass of wine directly from the tap in the wall - and a glass of water as well. They have been doing this for many years, and the sign tells you that 100 litres...More

Fun little place to visit, it's a water and wine fountain, fair amount of bus and Camino tours. Good photo opportunity! Museum being the fountain is nice and they've great wine, if you want to sit in the shade and chill out for a while.
