Besides the interesting view on daily lives of women also the Jewish community has been described. Henry Kissinger's cousin used to live in Marktbreit and died in a concentration camp.

Historical insight into daily life and history of women
Aug 2011
The museum is opened on weekend afternoon, a pitty when we visited it was closed... In the women room: the permanent exhibition gives a socially and culturally historical insight into the daily life and the history of women from various social layers and denominations who were born between the last quarter of the 19th century and the first quarter of the 20th. How girls were prepared to the role of housewife and mother and which professional options they had. About their childhood, youth, religious rites, maids, marriage and child blessing. In the Roman cabinet: route at the Chapel Hill, life and work of soldiers in the former double-Legion camp, Roman armour, or using a computer simulation to browse around the camp. Furthermore, temporary exhibitions.

The famous view of lower-Franconia
Aug 2011 • Couples
The history of this "House at the main gate on the Bach wall", formerly three houses, could be traced up to the economic prosperity of the town at the beginning of the 18th century. In the House was a spice trading company. It got its current appearance due to a renovation in 1774. Since a comprehensive restoration in 1991 the malerwinkel serves as a museum.
