After a lot of research I had come across this beach, it was a long drive from seville, but well worth it. It wasnt too crowded which was the best part. What many people dont know is, it has potential for Snorkeling. We were literally...More

We visited here for the second time today during our holiday. The beach is a 15 minute walk from Maro where we're staying. You have to walk down the side of the road and there's a steep bank towards the end. It's €5 for a...More

To see lots of fish and marine life right off the shore go to Playa de Mayo. It a rocky beach and very warm somehow. The water clarity is amazing. We enjoyed snorkeling and the scenery. The beach is very small with limited amenities. There...More

After reading reviews about this beach as well as seeing pictures of the waterfall we decided to have a jounrey over to Maro. We caught the 09:15 bus from Nerja (on the opposite side of the road to the bus station) for a mere 1.16...More

Grab a pair of water shoes and a large bottle of cold water and be prepared for a bit of a walk from the car down to this small but pretty beach overlooked only by farm land and a ruined watch tower. Not sure why...More

I wouldn’t say it’s a quarry as some have said. Yes it’s not fine sand but that doesn’t necessarily make a beach. The only thing really against it is it’s smallish size in comparison with its popularity - with locals and tourists - in peak...More

Beach, don't make me laugh this is a quarry. No sand just gravel. Need a helicopter to get down due to letting no cars down with loads of space to park. So dissappointed.

Typical beach along this coast. More like a quarry than a beach. We could accept that but what wasn't acceptable was the polluted sea. Sewage sludge was present all along the sea front!! If I want to swim in sewage I can stay home and...More

A small little beach outside of a quaint little village. The walk is steep and parking a bit of a problem but definitely worth it. Beach restaurant serves great seafood.
