Roman arch
Sep 2019 • Family
This arch is dedicated to Augusto from the Roman time. It is very well preserved, and definitely worth a climb up to the hill.

An historical Arc from the Roman period, 8 years before Chr.
May 2019 • Couples
When walking along the Castello of Susa you will see this beautiful Arc to. The Arc was built to honot the Roman Emperor Augustus. It is amazing to see such a structure that has been built more than 2000 years ago! We liked the Arc, the little park with the statue of Augustus and the view from here over the little historical town centre of Susa.

Day trip
Oct 2018 • Couples
A day trip starting from Turin and took around 1hr by train. A small town and we walked around the it and relaxing as not much visitors. People are friendly and we love to spend full day here. The Arch is at the small hill and not too far from the town. Don’t expect too much and just a scene to look and taking some photos.

worth the walk up the hill
Oct 2017 • Family
Come the back route through the back of the Castello, which gives you a view of both the spectacular remains of the aqueduct and the Arch, a tribute to Augusto from a local chief.

Interesting for adults
Aug 2017 • Family
Susa has things that appeal to adults - Roman remains etc but little that keeps a 16 year old engaged!

Exploring Susa
Jul 2017 • Family
We chose an excellent day to visit Susa because it was the XXXI Torneo Storico di Susa. There were people in costume from the 11th century wandering around, waiting for the competitions (archery, jousting, etc.) to begin in the Roman Arena nearby.

Never though to find so well preserved Roman ruins, the Arch being just one of many historical attractions in Susa

Interesting photogenic Roman arch in tranquil surroundings
Jun 2016 • Couples
Erected by Augustus to seal a pact with with a tribe the Romans later conquered. The aqueduct behind it was built later on their ruins...

Well maintained piece of history
Jul 2016 • Couples
Well maintained with a lovely park just at the entrance. Is nice for a morning stroll. You get to see several local attractions all within walking distance from one another, ideal for "lazy" tourists.
The ruins of the castello Adelaide are adjacent and the amphitheatre are not too far away.
