Hard climb but great view
Sep 2019 • Couples
Not an activity for non-fit people. The three portions of rocky are not far (250, 350, 500m) but the road is steep and with loose stones (takes arpund 25, 35, 50min). At the entrance there is a restaurant with toilet. Tickets are 3 euro pp. Definitely worth the climb!

Interesting attraction
Jul 2016 • Couples
A very nice geological attraction . A very steep and difficult climb to watch it from the bottom . Also possible to go by car 1 km from there by a different road and getting very near and watching from above .3 euro entrance fee from bottom , free from above .

Picked fresh strawberries and shared an "Aperitif" with the locals of Grumes!
Jun 2016
Something out of this world- its like ET personally came and made these peaks. The walk itself is quiet nice. It does not take all day; maybe an hour or so of your time but worth it as the pyramids are eroding. They will not be here forever. Also, a highlight (shared with a local of Europe's friendliest village) was picking the sweetest, cutest, freshest, wild strawberries right along the path! Make an effort to share your appreciation by stopping at the small bar/ cafe for a coffee, ice cream of aperitif. The locals to this region (particularly Grumes), is outstanding. So take a second to get to know them or at least share a welcome "Ciao" or aperitif!

a nice way to spend day

A natural wonder you need to see! There are 3 groups of pyramids and a few trails with rest stops and panoramic viewpoints.
If you plan to visit the pyramids, my advice is to have hiking shoes, take some water and avoid the summer heat if possible or the peak hours. You won't have to walk much but it will take 2-4 hours just to enjoy the beautiful and peaceful view.

A masterpiece of nature!
Sep 2013 • Family
A masterpiece of nature: towers, crests, pinnacles arranged like organ pipes, tall columns towered by a huge porphyry rock – these are the earth pyramids in the municipality of Segonzano. One of the geological phenomena and beauty. The remains of a moraine deposit sand like against the gravity. I don't think is well known by other nations then Italians. It is worth to go there to see them.
