Our visit was not spoiled with the persistent rain it is a lovely walk around the estate and the volunteers as always are full of information about the house and the surrounding area looking forward to revisiting when the sun is out

It costed us £8 to Park the car, so be aware!! It's a beautiful walk at Lyme Park, lots of wildlife around and really family friendly. There's a shuttle bus from the visitors centre up to the house if you have difficulty walking up steep hills.

The staff couldn't have been more helpful and were there when required in all of the rooms to provide further insights into the history of the house. We had a pleasant light lunch... More

Love walking from Marple over the Lyme Park....fab park and luckily a beautiful day. Only downside...cafe is dreadful and needs some sort of manager to sort out the shambles.
