The falls are gorgeous and the hiking is endless. The camp grounds can be loud close to the road. They have added new facilities in the camp ground and the Nature Center and inn are under construction. Plenty of activities for all ages.

This was one of many stops on our trip in middle TN. It was probably my least favorite, although very beautiful, it was also really crowded! It is a short hike to the overlook where we had to wait our turn to see the falls....More

Easy to park & look over from above. Restroom at parking lot. Trail down takes about 30 min each way & can be fairly steep & slick at points but our 80 yr old & 4 yr old made it with a helping hand!

Most of the trails are fairly easy. The exception being the one that goes down toward the base of the high falls, which may be a little rough for children. The park rangers & staff are more than helpful in recommending... More
