The Castle and the garden are beautiful but I'd highly recommend to take to guided tour with all the explanations about the history of this castle. Breteuil family was really involved in many government and public action, so many things to learn from this visit....More

It's a perfect place to bring young kids especially if they are Francophones, as a lady tells stories to the great joy of the kids (and parents). The gardens of the castle are beautiful and The stables have been turned in to interactive story boards...More

Amazing private chateau which has the same owners for more 300 years. Enormous territory which well-maintained. This was one of the highlights of our week staying in Gif-Sur-Yvette. We chose a brutally cold January day to explore the delightful grounds - will definitely return when it's warmer!
