Just go there to be surprised. Beautiful place. It seems not realistic inside, like in a film of other planets.Charming place with a good history.

There is nothing really special about place. Its history was interesting, if only they have widely visible visuals talking about how it got to be. I really think the place (now - I dont know if it was the same before) or its management is...More

If you are in the area it's a must to pass by, as it is an unique salt mine. The interior very nice design, made you feel as you are on the different world , something like a SF - movie.

There are elevators but when it is crowded you should wait a lot:( so try to go in week days. I would recommend to ask if they have a special solutions for the people who can have difficulties while they are walking.

We will be in Sibiu and also Sighisoara next month. Would this be a worthwhile trip and if so from which town or just too far from either, we would be using public transport.
