Castillo de Belmonte has undergone many transformations over the centuries. Current version of the Castillo is only from the 1900's. So it's not really authentic but is interesting and well done. Lovely views. Interiors are well done and informative.

We drove quite a detour to visit this castle which was stunning and included an excellent audio guide. The opening times are rather awkward (closed a long time at lunch time) and to be honest, at 9 Euros it's rather too expensive.
