Plenty of unspoiled coral areas with a lot of turtles, fish and the usual suspects! Stayed on the north side which seems quieter. 150,000 IDR National Park fee

I dives in Bunaken just after a liveaboard in Raja Ampat, and it's unfair to compare them because Raja Ampat is fenomenal. But Bunaken has a huge wall with colorful coral and lots of schools. Several kinds of fishes and turtles, some pipe fishes. I've...More

We spend 10 days in March in Bunaken National Park. The diving is superb and the reefs are still healthy and colorful with plenty of marine life.

Many said the spots were damage, but actually there were still many great spots for snorkeling. These spots (example Likuan spots) had plenty of fish but the currents were not friendly for beginners, you have to wear good fins..

This place lives up to its reputation. The variety is endless. It seems every creature in the area shows up to be seen. Turtles were also swimming in pairs and were everywhere.

Bangka is a lovely island and October is a good time to visit. The only month that is not good for diving and Snorkeling is August, because of large waves and a choppy sea.
