• It's not at all recommended on summer vacations! • Seriously, dehydration level will be too high! • Need to carry two litres of water per head with many more liquid foods and glucose! Or energy boosters! • Trekking in one day would be risky and hectic and most tiring! • Food will be available on the first peak! Which... More

Check out the terrain, I would prefer a climb from Somvarpet and descent into Kukke Subrahmanya.. Enthralling and excellent picturesque spots on the way to Subramanya will make you fall in love with nature like never before.. Either you can stay in the "Bhatru Mane" as it's popularly called or you can camp on top of the hill if you... More

One of trekking paradise of south India. It is located near Kukke Subramanya Temple. For trekking lovers this place is best suited one. We planned to climb the mountain, but due to small children didn't. It is 14 kms from one side, food is available in the middle.

This trek is one of its kind. One side around 14km. If you are on your first trek n feel that u can do this, you ARE WRONG. Don't think that I'm discouraging, but come prepared to feel the heat, as during the ascent for most of the time you will be climbing at 45 degrees and this will be... More

A huge range of mountains at the backdrop of Subramanya temple - one of the highest footfall temples in Karnataka. So natural choice for trekkers and mountaineering? Beware, it's difficult terrain with hardly any shades after the initial ascent and worse yet, there are no facilities for trekkers. The temple deity's house midway is your only hope of shelter/food/toilet. But... More
