There is a lot to see in a submarine but unfortunately not much is explained in this one. It takes app. 15-25 min to walk through it. I have seen other submarines that were more interesting

Have you never been inside a submarine? Here is your chance to see the biggest Russian diesel driven submarine...for us was it interesting and scary at the same time.

It's true that in something what is called "U Boot museum" we expected something different and especially more than just a single Soviet submarine. If it were anywhere else but right at Peenemunde I'd rather expected something from German history. Well, but anyway - when you get the opportunity to see inside the Soviet atomic (not drive, but carrying nuclear... More

Took less than 15 min. to pass through the boat. No information and poorly maintained so eur 28.00 for a family of 4 was a total rip off.

Well I have to say that my respect for my late Uncle Keith, who did submarine service in the Royal Navy at the end of WW2, has been further emphasised by the visit here. Sure this is a later, ex Soviet submarine, but to be able to clamber inside and traverse through from one end to the other really gave... More

Firstly this is amazing. As a member of the British Armed Forces during the Cold War the opportunity to see what the oposition looked like - to clamber around what was once only available in photographs in Intelligence summaries.... is fantastic. On a basic level its fun to clamber around a submarine - to climb into it... wander around it... More

This submarine was obtained from the USSR after it was phased out after the Eighties. This class of submarines, while relatively small and conventionally powered by diesel-electric propulsion system (i.e. non-nuclear), was built and operated up to the end of the Cold War. They had a surface to surface missile launch capability, and were specifically conceived to target ships. The... More

Wow, I could not even imagine how enclosed you have to live in Submarine until I've visited the U-461. If you are claustrophobic you should avoid this place. But it is definitely very interesting.

If you like technical details and precese work, you must see it. It is not hi-tech Software solution :) - nice screens, clean sound and action as video games. It is piece of good work and technically sophisticated machine. Interesting look to past.
