If you have toddlers, this is a great place to visit. I've detailed and commented on a few things to help get you there and what to expect. Transportation: Find your way to the Omori-kaigan Station. Once you get off, you can see some maps showing where the Aquarium is. There will also be little fish designs along the sidewalk... More

Visited the aquarium because there's a special Sakura light-up and projection mapping event by Naked Inc. The admission fee was a little pricey (2,200yen), but it was all worth it when we saw the animal collections inside, and the famous dolphins show! We loved it so much that we watched the show twice (7PM and 8PM). It was good that... More

There is free bus leaving from JR Oimachi. Bus leaves every hr and some half hr. 1350yen at window. You can re enter same day. There is park outside. Good for little children. Shop has different reasonable price goods, too.

But for the first time ever, I wanted to do something different so I chose staying in Shinagawa Prince Hotel, where the Aquarium is attached to this huge hotel. I was surprised, though, the Aquarium is awesome. The Dolphin Show was load of fun. We just followed the music... More

Excelent experience in Tokyo. Impressive display of enormous variety of water-related animal life as well as outstanding dolphin show both included in entrance price.Beware: individual motion fun attracctions not included in entrance price!

I'm sceptical of captivity to say the least. Going here was an eye opener. Yes they have done a reasonable job with the way they educate people, but the tanks that hold the dolphins are far too small and they show signs of rake markings and disease. Dolphins should not be in captivity, I've learned that they are taken from... More
