Take an easy circle walk through old-growth forest and stunning river views from two river crossings. Enjoy the fantasy of wilderness close to town. Great anytime of year but especially after heavy rains which make the falls more spectacular.

If you like a fairly easy hike and beautiful scenery these trails are for you. Depending on where you hike in the park the challenges go from walking easily to climbing and testing your stamina. Love walking these trails and taking a lunch to just spend time in the natural beauty surrounding you.

Beautiful scenery, nice walks.....bring a 🎥 camera. Amazing sights during the spring runoff......the water roars over the falls.

Wow!! These falls are spectacular to see!! Regularly it is a short walk from the parking lot but with the snowfall it was a 10 min walk from the locked gate. Warm clothing was needed for this activity.

This place is beautiful. It actually has two cataracts, with the upper one being the wildest. The water plunges into a deep, narrow slot in the rock before heading downstream. Standing on the bridge you will get some of the mist. The lower falls also has a bridge where the trail crosses back to the parking lot side of the... More

It probably won't be the longest hike you take but it is a "don't miss" when in the area. Beautiful falls await you as you do this circuitous walk. The duration can be quite short if you're an avid hiker but is a very doable leisurely walk even if you're physically lacking.

We stopped here on our way to Coombs and took a little hike to the falls. They are literally 10 minutes from the parking lot and if you are mobility challenged not too hard a walk. There are hikes that you can do that are more challenging but we were happy just to take a look at the falls. There... More

This a a gorgeous spot 7 km off the highway between Parksville and Coombs. We have been here many times but always enjoy the beauty of the forest and Falls. With all the rain this fall, The Falls were roaring.

Spring, summer, or fall, we love coming to this place either for a walk, picnic, or both. The falls can be rugged and raw, yet a bit further downstream people are swimming.

Make sure you drive just past the campground to the day use area to the trail head. Not a long walk to the lower falls and it's a groomed trail.
