The plan was to go to the Observation Deck of this very attractive building. We were welcomed at the door by the lovely people working there offering us free tickets to a Geisha Show. It was very professionally organised. And we felt so welcomed. The...More

We stayed around Asakusa area and we joined this traditional event where they dress you up in their traditional dress and teach you the traditional dance. I feel very japanese; thank you for taking care of us.

You can see the surroundings of Asakusa. I enjoyed the street view leading to the temple. There are seating areas for you to rest after a long walk around Asakusa. On the right, you can see Asahi (Gold building) and sky tree.

We stopped here to use the restrooms —they were very clean and air conditioned —and also bought tourist 72hour subway passes. The staff speak English and Mandarin very well!

The building was designed by Kengo Kuma and its very interesting. Several exhibitions and performances are held daily. You can enjoy a great view on Asakusa and Senso-Ji from the roof deck (9.00-22.00).

Ueno, Asakusa
Traces of the history and culture of the Edo (old
Tokyo) era remain vividly in Ueno and Asakusa.
Spacious Ueno Park is a great place to relax and visit
a variety of different museums and galleries. At
Ameyoko which starts in front of Ueno station, the
grocery stores and clothing shops are crammed
alongside fishmongers. It gets particularly busy at
the end of the year, when many people go on shopping

Hey, I agree with mike_amornsin. You most probably can ask the hotel to store your luggage before check in time. Best if you contact them/email a day or 2 before and ask them. They are very helpful and tries their best to... More
