The area
Address
Neighbourhood: Shibuya / Harajuku / Ebisu
There are countless opportunities to shop in the Shibuya and Harajuku districts, especially in shops that focus on Japan's "Kawaii" culture. The trendiest areas are around Shibuya’s Center district, Harajuku's Takeshita-dori and in Omotesando. If you need to recharge from all the shopping, you can easily refresh yourself in Meiji Jingu or Sasaki Park. In contrast, Ebisu has a more grown up ambiance of calm and cool. At the Museum of Yebisu Beer you can learn about the beer that was responsible for the town’s name, and enjoy dining at the popular noodle shops in the surrounding area.

LOVE T-Site. Excellent book store restaurants and shops
Oct 2020
The place is fantastic. Lots of different shops to look around in.The book shop "Tsutaya" is huge with plenty of places to sit and look at the books and there is a variety of restaurants and even some pop up restaurants or food trucks that are often there. Design of the place is also pretty cool and there is parking although is is paid parking

This library/book shop/restaurant/cafe is an amazing place to spend your morning or early afternoon. It's got a special chill vibe to it, and if you take your time you will surely discover some cultural or artsy secrets that will advance your vocabulary. Especially recommending the music section, located in the second floor of the first building (out of three). There is a huge collection of Japanese and International music; pick a CD and listen to it on one of the audio stations located by the window, while you sip your coffee. Or flip through the crazy selection of fashion magazines to get inspiration for your new Saturday outfit. Whether you are a big Harley Davidson-fan or you spend more time on counting Vivienne Westwood's safety pins, this place will most definitely give you some ideas and trigger your imagination.

Awesome collection of books
Sep 2019 • Solo
I love showing this place to visitors. There’s a great selection of English language books, art books, interesting local magazines, and temporary exhibits like Indigo dyeing. There’s a huge collection of fountain pens and stationary. Upstairs is a restaurant with vintage copies of Heibon Punch. Sometimes on weekends there’s pop up markets featuring flowers or local food.

Not as impressive as advertised
Jun 2019
This bookstore maybe was am impressive one many years ago, but today there are many new bookstores are with good design and look more special and unique than this one. For a foreigner if you don't read Japanese books but just want to see this "one of the most beatiful bookstore in the world", you may feel a little bit dissipointed.

Enjoy an encounter of unexpected books
Oct 2018
Always enjoy browsing books there and a nice walk from Daikanyama station. That leads me an encounter of unexpected finds and hoping one building and another is fun too. Wish there are more seats for sit down to flip pages even for a bit. Seats at the Starbucks' area are always full most of the time. There are heaters near tables outside in the winter.
A cafe/bar on the second floor is another place to enjoy. There are vintage Japanese magazines which we can actually read for free while using a cafe/bar. A dim light helps to the nice ambiance.

Famed bookstore
Sep 2018 • Solo
The Tsutaya bookstore is the main attraction here. Even if you are not looking to shop for books, you would definitely enjoy browsing their collections and other merchandise on display. The interior design and architecture of the complex are quite cool as well. There are a couple of classy restaurants and specialty shops as well. Good place to chill after shopping or wandering in the area.

Tsutaya Books
Mar 2018 • Friends
We love the design concept to link three buildings by link bridges. Movement from one building to another is seamless and smooth. Love the collection of books mix with stationery display.

The coffee corner on the second level offers light meals and coffee. Lightings and furnitures are carefully chosen to provide a relax ambiance.

Recommend for music and movie lover for their great collections.

Shop around this areas offer different shopping experience for the non-budget conscious crowd.
