We visited here before attending a family wedding in the private rooms and grounds. The grounds are lovely, well tended and peaceful, as a wedding venue it was fabulous. It was great to be out and about yoga district . The museum is very well kept. Right next to a green park which is buzzing with crickets , it is small yet very well organised place. I enjoyed looking at the work of local artists.

We went to the Setagaya Art Museum specifically to see the Godzilla, Seven Samurai Reunited at Tokyo Exhibition. It took quite a while to get there and another 25 min walk from the station which is well signposted, through a nice neighborhood to the top end of the park to the museum. It would be just like a Cool Japan of 150 years ago. I clearly understood at this art exhibition that Japanese Ukiyoe gave a shock to the Impressionist painters in the late 19th century and strongly influenced their works.
