A bridge with lights at night

I think its just a bridge with different lights at night. Good spot for hobbyist or photographers if taken from Odaiba.

I have walked over this massive suspension bridge like 5 times. Each time I step it for 15 mins end to end, thrills me as if I am walking in the sky over the sea, its such a superb bridge opened for pedestrians, the night view will woo your mind. I feel so lucky for living nearby rainbow bridge since... More

Nice bridge w great views of the city skyline (especially at night). We didn't see it change colors, tho, it was white the two days we traveled over it.

If you can spare some time or if you intend to go to Odaiba anyhow a walk on the Rainbow Bridge can be an alternative - at good weather conditions only. Take the Yurikamome Line to Shibaura-Futo and follow the signs to Rainbow Bridge. An Elevator will get you to the pedestrian walk, which is more or less a walk... More

Our bus to Narita Airport took us over the bridge. Yes, the views of the harbor are great (sit on the left if you are going east to the airport). However, the amount of time and effort it would take to drive over the bridge and come back does not make it worth it, especially if you are the one... More

I have walked across Rainbow Bridge a few times and always look forward to walking across when I head back to Tokyo. Great views of Tokyo. However you are at the elements behest, so come prepared. To enter I suggest you walk from the Tokyo side (not from Odiba). Take the Yurikamome Line from Shimbashi and get off at Shibaura-Futo... More

Its a little known fact that you can actually walk across the Rainbow Bridge, either on the North Side (Tokyo Tower view) or the South Side (Odaiba view), which offers different views. Walking across, you can see the sunset over the harbour as well as ships going out to sea. It's quite noisy up there, but definitely safe. Wonderful photo... More

We stayed at the hotel near by so we have a view of the bridge from our room. Absolutely fantastic especially in the evening. Go to the Starbucks of Aqua city for a cup of coffee and sit down enjoy the great view.

Staying in Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi

Neighbourhood Profile
Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi
Odaiba is an entertainment hotspot with a giant ferris wheel, concert halls, amusement arcades and lots of shopping. It also boasts Oedo-onsen-monogatari, a hotspring that recreates old Edo-era ambiance and is very popular with foreign visitors. Shiodome has ultra-modern office buildings where you can often find restaurants with a great high-rise view of Tokyo. The neighboring area of Shinbashi is a district of much older commercial buildings and it's a great place to join 'salary men' enjoying a drink and snacks at street stalls under the railway bridges after work.
