Tokyo Tower is a iconic center and one has to swing around it to appreciate the beauty of it in both daytime and evening time.

I and my mom visited in 2015 and I put it in as 2016 since it can't be found. The purpose to write this was I found this place really beautiful. I love Japanese Animation and we visited the Tokyo Tower to the top floor (peak) and also visited One Piece Museum. Trust me, you need more time as the... More

In Paris, the best views are of the Eiffel Tower; in Tokyo, great views are from Tokyo Tower. The lift takes you up to the viewing deck. The upper deck was closed when we visited, but I think the views may actually be better from the lower deck anyway. Do visit at night. You alight from the lift to be... More

Basically the very first destination I scheduled to visit in Japan was the Tokyo Tower. The view of the city from the higher levels of the tower was a great way to start our trip and get a great view of the new city and country we had arrived in. Pictures don't really do the view justice, go up and... More

I went early in the morning so there was no queue what so ever the assistance and the elevator operators we're very helpful. When you get up to the observation deck the views and panorama all really impressive. It's a cheap and cheerful way to spend a few hours before going on a tour or doing something else. It's a... Went there as we were in the area. Nice spot to take pictures especially at night when it's lit up. Went up to the observation deck and it's nothing fantastic. Nice enough views but nothing awesome. Skip it if you don't have time. Just take some pics from outside.

If you have done one of tall structure tour before, it is nothing unusual. We stayed till after sunset and was treated with a great night scene. Don't miss the adjoining garden where you get a great view of the tower.

check that the tower is fully open as the day we went the top section was not open and they still charged the full price. Great views of down town

I first visited Tokyo Tower was December 2010. During daytime, she looks like a headmistress who oversees the skyline of Tokyo. At night, she looks like a sexy lady dressed in red. The second time I visited Tokyo was the first day of 2016. And this marked my 3rd time to visit an old friend. Among my few experiences, I... More

Staying in Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi

Neighbourhood Profile
Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi
Odaiba is an entertainment hotspot with a giant ferris wheel, concert halls, amusement arcades and lots of shopping. It also boasts Oedo-onsen-monogatari, a hotspring that recreates old Edo-era ambiance and is very popular with foreign visitors. Shiodome has ultra-modern office buildings where you can often find restaurants with a great high-rise view of Tokyo. The neighboring area of Shinbashi is a district of much older commercial buildings and it's a great place to join 'salary men' enjoying a drink and snacks at street stalls under the railway bridges after work.
