I came here on the very 1st day I arrived in Tokyo. It took about 20 minutes from Haneda airport using the monorail continued by Rinkai line. From Haneda we rook monorail towards Hamamatsucho & stopped at Tenozu Isle Station. Then we took the Rinkai line towards Tokyo Teleport Station. It cost 550 ¥. This shopping mall has many stores... If you find yourself over in the Tokyo Bay area and want to experience modern commercial Tokyo then this is a great place to visit. The mall itself is varied with many western and Japanese stores to peruse. The food court is great too, though predictably dominated by (tasty) Ramen outlets. The highlight for me though was the 1:1 scale... More

One of MANY nearby shopping malls with, if I remember 47 restaurants. Yes 47. WOW. Did you catch the play on words? Diver City - Diversity? It is VERY Western oriented, you will feel like you are at Mall of America. MANY choices for dining from upscale to fast food, just understand you are in Japan and their idea of... More

We visited Diver City Tokyo Plaza primarily to see the 4-story tall Gundam Robot and it was worth it! Quite a sight during the day, it is especially cool at night, whether you are a Gundam fan or not! The food court was pretty good, serving a variety of entrees from ramen, to sushi, to okonomiyaki. However, the food quality... More

The plaza has seven floor setting about 10 mins walks from the train station. The 7th floor is has all the Gundam store and shop. You can access the free side or the paid side. There are kids/teenager price and adult price. For about $10 entrance free, what you have is about 15 mins of 4D presentation of Gundam all... More

New shopping mall, with lots of options for souvenir before going to the airport. They have a clean and spacious food court with decent variety of food and decent price. There is a 1/1 size Gundam model in front of door. It looks very realistic and they perform shows in the evening. I was expecting a bit more of just... More

This mall has many food stalls in the first floor and hundreds of shops mostly with clothing upstairs. Also brand names as Armani Disel and Burberry are there. It seems the prices are Ok especially at Zara and H&M because many shoppers around. I didn't buy anything but my wife and daughters did. I came here to see robot which... More

Nice surrounding and walking place. Wish that I could climb up on Gundam. Felt like I accidently got into a Doraemon chapter and became tiny.

Best food center I saw in odaiba! Shopping is also excellent, if you are willing to pay full retail price :)

Came here mainly to see and pose in front of the Giant Gundam robot in front of the DiverCity Plaza. The plaza itself is similar to other plazas on the area of Odaiba. Don't miss the Liberty Statue too nearby the AquaCity mall.

Staying in Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi

Neighbourhood Profile
Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi
Odaiba is an entertainment hotspot with a giant ferris wheel, concert halls, amusement arcades and lots of shopping. It also boasts Oedo-onsen-monogatari, a hotspring that recreates old Edo-era ambiance and is very popular with foreign visitors. Shiodome has ultra-modern office buildings where you can often find restaurants with a great high-rise view of Tokyo. The neighboring area of Shinbashi is a district of much older commercial buildings and it's a great place to join 'salary men' enjoying a drink and snacks at street stalls under the railway bridges after work.
