While visiting the giant Gundam at Diver City, I took the short stroll over the road to check this place out. The ceiling was a lot like the Venetian Hote in Las Vegas. Beautiful architecture and nice restaraunts. It was rather quiet the day I went. The Toyota City showcase was a great unexpected bonus. I'm not sure if this... More

Venus fort mall sure looks nice with its inside fountains and all, but it's pricy and the floorplan is very poorly designed. I definitely recommend you to do your shopping at the Aqua city odaiba.

The place is quite far from ginza where we stay. Around 45 minutes by taxi. You will cross a bay or river via a bridge that is so beautiful. The district is called ODAIBA and it seems to be all new, modern buildings, wide parks, few people. It probably a new city development nearest Tokyo. VENUSFORT is a shopping place... More

It was like Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas. I recommend to visit here to people who have not been Europe and Las Vegas... More

Venus Fort is a beautiful shopping mall designed with a resemblance to a medieval European style. The wonderful ceiling which displays an artificial sky overhead is the main draw. The place is huge and takes more than 2 hours to explore most of the shops. The mall has a lot of mid-range shops with some outlet-style shops with cheaper prices.... More

Very nice place. High end shops so a bit expensive but was able to buy a very nice and reasonable price Nike shoes at the Nike Factory Outlet. Many nice attractions to see. wish I had more time to go around and shop. Will definitely visit the place again.

This was the first stop we visited in Odaiba, it was very well maintained and spacious. Most of the things were quite expensive so we didn't shop much here. But there were other places to visit in Odaiba so it wasn't a wasted trip.

Passed through after visiting the Toyota Mega Web showroom. Good range of shops and restaurants plus looks amazing. Loved the ceiling lighting that changed colours as the day went on. Found a great Chinese to eat at in the Venus Fort 2F

Staying in Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi

Neighbourhood Profile
Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi
Odaiba is an entertainment hotspot with a giant ferris wheel, concert halls, amusement arcades and lots of shopping. It also boasts Oedo-onsen-monogatari, a hotspring that recreates old Edo-era ambiance and is very popular with foreign visitors. Shiodome has ultra-modern office buildings where you can often find restaurants with a great high-rise view of Tokyo. The neighboring area of Shinbashi is a district of much older commercial buildings and it's a great place to join 'salary men' enjoying a drink and snacks at street stalls under the railway bridges after work.
