It is an area full of shops and eating places. Many pubs and a good place to hang out for drinks. Plenty of walking to do and be prepared to deal with large crowds too.

Many nice stores and a few restaurants on a tree lined side street in the Ginza. My favourite watch stores are located here.

We walked along the street while exploring the Ginza area. Lots of fancy shops and a few restaurants in the area. Didn't buy anything. The street like most streets in the Ginza area was quite crowded.

Chanced upon the area during our daily walk up and down The Ginza in the evening. Namiki-Dori is a street in the Ginza area which perhaps houses the most exclusive showrooms in Tokyo. What that actually means is that You and I are good enough...More

Ginza / Tokyo Nihonbashi
Ginza is famous for being a trendy hotspot, but it's
also a downtown area with shops that were founded over
a hundred years ago. Department stores and luxury
boutiques line the route from Nihonbashi to Ginza.
It's a long established tradition to shop and stroll
while the road is closed to traffic. Luxury hotels,
world class cuisine from talented chefs, and a
collection of glitzy clubs will make this area popular
