These windmills carried the history as well as the attraction of the small township. A bit windy but acceptable. The windmills are well maintained.

Windmills in a lovely setting - having seen drawings of Don Quixote and the windmill 'giants' I really wanted see them for real. The setting is dramatic on the ridge above Consuegra and the seven windmills in a row (there are 11 in total) really...More

A beautiful location that's very picturesque. We spent an hour just taking various photos of the windmills and the surrounding landscape. Even our kids enjoyed the simple beauty without once complaining about boredom or the heat.

There is a very charming restaurant with lovely terrace/garden called El Cardenal which I would recommend very much for the site and the traditional Mancha cuisine. For a visit of the town or the windmills, I thought you... More
