We took the ‘Gastronomical Tour’ with Lut and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The tour has an unusual format: walk for an hour or so, eat a starter in a restaurant, walk for another hour or so, eat a main-course in a second restaurant, walk for a further hour or so, eat a dessert in a third restaurant. An interesting way to learn about the history of Arnhem and also to sample to culinary delights of the city. Lut is a friendly, polite and knowledgeable host. She related the history of Arnhem in an informative and interesting way and chose restaurants with a good variety of reasonably-priced dishes to choose from. The highlight of the tour was the view from the top of the Eusebius Church, where we could see over the entire city of Arnhem and beyond. An interesting experience and one that we would recommend to anyone that wants to learn about the history of Arnhem in a relaxed and enjoyable manner.
