We viewed this rock from across the road at the harbour. Not brilliant but can see where the name comes from. Not sure if you can access it at all.

This is the harbour area of Agaete and the Dedo (finger) part of the rock formation was smashed during Tropical Storm Delta (2005). Don't let that put you off. It has a reasonable beach, piers you can fish off and a range of medium-priced restaurants...More

Sadly the finger fell down after a tropical storm in 2005 so whilst the main rock is still there, the dedo of signs and souvenirs is no more. The harbour side makes for a pleasant walk though.

It is just too big for a Spanish restaurant. We like the small simple kitchen in which the food is prepared in a traditional way. And this is not it, sorry.

To be honest, this stone formation is not existing anymore as it was some years ago. When I was there I did not even see this sight. Agaete is very nice to visit anyway.

Me and my husbend love nature. Nature - mountains, lakes, seas and so on. So walk almost in the top of mounthains is great expierence. There are some destonations already. It is quite comfortable. Just don't forget comfirtable shoes!
