If you are a creative you will love this place. A massively influential man in architecture, art, nature and social warrior to keep Lanzarote beautiful and not full of concrete hotel jungles. If you like interior design and appreciate the 60's look this house has...More

Worth the drive to Haria to see the last home of Cesar Manrique and his art studio. Fascinating to be able to walk around somebodies house that has had such a huge influence on the island of Lanzarote. Just walk around and enjoy the personal...More

A lovely but very small museum. Worth a visit to see how Manrique lived. Beautifully kept and well organised. Very jealous of how he lived!

It must be pointed out that Cesar Manrique was able to influence the planners of Lanzarote as a holiday destination and as a result you have a holiday island without the multi story conglomerations found throughout Spain. He insisted on no more than 2 story...More

We thoroughly enjoyed spending a couple of hours walking through Manrique’s house and gardens. We were amazed how relaxing it felt inside. His eye for detail was amazing as the house seemed to flow seamlessly between rooms yet was crammed full of so much interest....More

a great place to find out about the man who did much to keep the island as you see it today, explaining the wind driven sculptures and monuments on the island and also some of the history behind them.
