I went to Bufadero the la Garita in August to see the sunrise from there, being this place in the East coast of Gran Canaria. It came out that morning wasn't the best time to see the Bufadero, as the high tide that creates the...More

Stay far away from the actual blow hole as the water does come up without warning and the rocks are so slippery. People were getting dangerously close for selfies. Being January the weather was crazy. The waves were huge coming over the side of the...More

We went there with low tides and weren't fully satisfacted. We went back with high tide and it was spectacular!

Near airport on vulcanic rock beach. We came to see it twice on low and high tide (recomended). Nice to sit down for few minutes and admire rough see. But do not be too close!!!

We parked our car at the parking place and walked down the rocks. It is just overwhelming to look at how the waves is forced into the blowhole again and again. It was perfect weather so we just sat for 15 min or more and...More

It’s an odd rock formation that has been created by the power of the ocean. Looks really odd as the water comes filling up through and out of the hole, and is then sucked back down into it again.

Here you can see the impressive power of the ocean. Do not go to close! It is really interesting but as one reviewer remarked it can be very dangerous so be careful. We spent some time watching not only the bufadero, but the waves crashing...More
