Visiting Gramona was the highlight of our entire trip to span. Mireia was the bright start of our tour, professionally sharing the history and functionality of this amazing winery. We are amazed at the complexity of the cava's and learned the difference between cheap and premium cava. Learning about ECO friendly operations of this property is worth the tour alone.... More

We had the pleasure of touring this amazing facility. Our group of four, along with Nico (who arranged the tour for us) were lead by the energetic, enthusiastic and ultra- knowledgable tour guide from Gramona (Mareila? Not sure how to spell...) We were lucky enough to visit at harvest time and so got to witness some stages of the "magic"... More

Despite being completely empty (literally), this Cava House turned us away from a tour, tasting, or shopping due to not having booked an appointment in advance - unimpressive. Other houses were more than happy to see us with no appointments. See my review of Sola Raventos!

The quality of the visit here was simply excellent and I would recommend it to anyone interested in apreciating the difference between a premium, aged with cork, cava and the mass produced equivalents from larger factories. Super interesting, super tasting, and a great use of 1.5 hours.

Make a reservation. Inspiring to spend the afternoon with Mireia Borrell at Gramona. We also were fortunate to meet two generations of the Gramona family. We toured the winery, the new technology rich production faculty, and the historic cellars. Hours flew because Mireia made every Cava step and process interesting. The blending of organic, biodynamic, tradition, and innovation kept us... More

If you have never tried cava, this is the place to go! My group of 7 made reservations and visited Bodegas Gramona for an intimate tour. The underground wine caves are very unique and worth a visit. We had a young, enthusiastic tour guide that kept us entertained. She allowed a member of our group to attempt to disgorge a... More

Without a doubt, Gramona is one of the best cava winery (including some delicious wines). The visit is well explained and worthwhile, plus the extra value of tasting some of their delicious cava/wines!

We booked a tasting and tour 6 weeks in advance. We'll worth the drive. They showed us their caves and gave us a great tour. We bought the rose and will look for their cava in the states, especially the ice wine - desert wine.

We visited Gramona in Sant Sadurni without a reservation. We simply wanted to pop in and ask about their cava, ask if it would be possible to book a tour or a tasting etc. Unfortunately this was not well recieved, as we could not speak spanish. The lady we met spoke a little english but was clearly not at all... More
