A day trip to this off-beaten- path is worth visiting. Take R4 train from Barcelona, which takes approx 1.5 hours. Not many people speak English in Manresa.

The Cathedral is well worth a visit as it houses some surprisingly good artwork. the retablo of the Holy Spirit is exceptional. It is a fine place for rest and prayer in a beautiful setting.
