If we are talking only about the fortress, then there is nothing to do. No signs, no information presented. Just walls, which are not the biggest one. Wikipedia also didn't give any interesting information. It is a location to walk in, and in a minute...More

These rock formations are incredibly unique and stand out on the hill above the town. Amazing fortress built to enclose and use the rocks as natural observation areas.

If you visit Bulgaria, this is a MUST !!! It is so beautiful, remind me of Metheora in Greece. The view from here is fantastic. This town should be on the tourist map !!

So, yeah, dramatic scenes, amazing photos, good exercise, amazing views, good history, a lot of activities - seems like this place has it all. Definitely worth visiting! Wear comfortable shoes, be careful, take your camera and enjoy! :)

The whole area has a lot to offer: caves, historical places, hiking, and of course the great and well preserved fortres. There is no mass tourism in the area, so the place is nice to be visited any time without being annoyed by thousands of...More

The most beautiful and breath taking rocky natural sight i have seen after the Grand Canyon. Highly recomendable! Note: there is a badly marked parking at the fortress entrance, no need to park in the town down the hill.

Sorry, but we didn`t hike in the area. Maybe the best way would be if you go to a tourist office, when you are in Belogradchik and ask for more details. Another way is if you could find a local person, who knows the region... More
