Traditional red temple at Mt. Takao. Statues of the gods, one with a long nose (Big Tengu) and one with a crow beak (Small Tengu), can be found at the temple. People come here to pray to them for good luck.

Just a short drive from Tokyo, Mt. Takao/Yakuoin Temple was a delight to visit. A path guides you up to the temple and summit. They say you can see Mt. Fujii at the top, but alas we were there on a cloudy day.
