Absolutely wonderful to see these historic aircraft of the BBMF/RAF in there home Hanger. Very knowledgeable volunteer guide to talk us round. You have to bear in mind that these are flying aircraft on an active RAF base with the obvious restrictions.

In Canada we live an hour from the only other flying Lancaster bomber, so making this pilgrimage was a must especially since many family members are fanatics. Coningsby is an active air force base so there are some restrictions including visit by timed guided tours...More
