We drove along the stream. There are many pretty waterfalls along the way. Not the kind that are absolutely breathtaking, but they are serene and up close. There are nice trails along the stream but it was rainy when we went so we didn't go...More

It is the most beautiful place I have ever visited in Japan. Silent, fresh gas and easy to access. If you are planning to go Aomori, dont miss it.

It is a must-go if you like nature. The view and water is gorgeous. Select a start and end to fit your physical condition and company. But be aware there are not many restrooms and water supply along the way.

Beautiful serene place full of walks waterfalls suspension bridge, huge outcrops of rocky Gorges A photographers dream. The tracks next to the river edge were very slippery due to melting snow.

I recommend everyone that goes to Japan and goes to some places far from mass touristic areas like Lake Towada and Oirase stream. Take a bus from hachinohe JR station around 9am and go down 4 stops from the lake then walk. After that take...More

We went during the late fall winter season and while some of trees had already shed their colourful leaves it was still a mesmerising visit! This is nature at its finest! You can walk along the stream but be prepared to go on foot for...More

It's a two-hour bus ride (with some really nice views) each way to Oirase stream from Aomori city. As someone who doesn't hike, I thought it was enjoyable and not taxing. Occasionally having to walk along and on the road and the sound of traffic...More

This was one of the must-visited stops we had in our 2016 Autumn leaf-viewing Trip. Oirase Steam 奧入瀨溪流 did not disappointed us. It’s indeed a remarkable experience. We walked along the Stream under a raining day, quite a scene! We enjoyed every step of it.

You can find the bus schedule on a web page of "JR BUS TOHOKU". Unfortunately, it isn't allowed to attach the URL here, so try to google with the word above^_^ Have a nice trip!!
