Very poor black grit sand and rocks. A lot of work being undertaken below the cliffs. The sea is also rough and powerful here

This is a great little beach to visit if you are on a sight seeing tour of the island. The black sand is surprising at first and photogenic. It is a sufficiently small beach that I would propose this beach as a good place for...More

Situated down near the harbour, this beach is in a stunning location next to the cliffs. It has recently had improvement works and is better for it. Black sand. Lifeguard on duty. Lovely spot & I highly recommend it!

Small beach in a picturesque cove. Shallow water, suitable for children. In view of the number of visitors to Los Gigantes it must be very crowded in hot weather.

This is a small black sand beach, however it has rocks on entry so be sure to wear appropriate shoes. Geat view of the Los Gigantes and lots of terraces around.

People should be aware that the beach at Los Gigantes is closed. Heartbreaking to see families with little kids with their buckets and spades, trundling back along the path after they find the beach closed. No mention of this in the brochures!!

This beach is not very good at the best of times (small and uninviting) but this year you couldn't even get to it because of ongoing 'improvements'. I'd suggest you forget the beach and go to The Oasis pubic pool just along the road -...More

Work to improve the beach is going on. The old huts at the back of the beach have been demolished. Not sure what other improvements are being carried out.
