Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

You don't need to be an expert for caves to enjoy this one. The tour is not hard and I saw some very small children that were there with their parents and managed.
The cave has some history and it was interesting to observe and learn with some headlamps that were lent to us by the tour guide at the beginning of the tour.
The tour guide that a group where I was had was nice and kept our attention for the whole time. Offering a shot to someone from the tour group by tour guide was funny and at the same time a nice ending of the tour.

We had a great visit with my 6 yo boy as it was really fun to be in the cave with a headlamp and almost in natural environment - ie. trail just little adjusted to visitors.
Our guide was experienced any funny and payed special attention to my kid.
Same positive experiences we had in the cottage where the tickets were sold. They have excellent tea - we had to stop twice there (ok, with reason to warm up on the hike back 😀). Also a lot of souvenirs can be bought there.
Highly recommended!

This is not a super big cave but it's definitely worth a visit. Women who guided us was just great. I could see that she is passionate with a sense of humor. Tour was on Slovakian so unfortunately for me I was just observing the cave not understanding to much. Some audio guide on English would be great. Cave is not suitable for small kids.

We have recently returned from winter holidays in Slovakian Tatra Mountains, one of the trips we managed was a visit to little Stanisovska Cave. Amazing Customer service, guide Janko was simply amazing. There was another guy who invited us to the kiosk/shop with a little jealous retriever named Chilly. Gentlemen in the kiosk offered us drinks as well as products made by locals. All over 5* experience, nice people beautiful creation of Slovakian nature.

Usually I visit caves like other tourists. This time I took level up and visited cave with guide and visited places that are closed for public. With headlight, rope... worth to try

This cave is rather not well known. There are other, more popular and also nicer caves in region of Low Tatras. However, if you are in Liptovsky Jan, it is worth visiting. It is very nice walj from Liptovsky Jan, surrounded by beautiful nature. It is also reachable by car.

We cisited this cave multiple times and each visit it felt like completely new experience. It was probably because we got different tour guides (one was goofy and we had lot of fun, other one told us more info about the cave). The cave is not electrified, at the entrance you get a headlamp. We went by car (we had small kids) but you can walk there too, it's not that far. We really enjoyed our visit, and I think it's worth cominh. I also recommend visiting "Medevdia štôlňa" and "Mincovníčkovo". They have the same owner as this cave and we got discount when they saw t-shirt we purchased in this cave.

We started just at 14.30, but we had great time in Stanisivska cave. Only with small lamp on our heads we spent cca one hour in cave just like speleologists. Nice trip also for 4 years old.
Down the valley with "kolobezka" scooter. Good training for 10 years old 😜

I've been to many caves but this one is one of two the most beautiful ones (Drach Cave on Mallorca is my favourite). You're going up and down, up and down again, to finally see all these sculptures of nature and quietly whisper "oh my...".
I'd definitely visit it again, especially during a classical music concert, if any!
