If you've been doing something since 1582, you must be doing it right. Short tour of the ancient wine cellar (hence, 'cantina,') and a lovely, unrushed tasting in the sunny, inviting tasting room. BTW cats factor heavily in the signage and labeling for Glicine which...More
Wonderfully family run place.
Welcoming, friendly and good wine!
Highly recommend - our youngish family (8, 10, 12 years) were looked after and made most welcome.
(Ignore the 2 negative reviews - one clearly from a commercial tour operator looking to make money from the...More
Glicine has a cellar dated back 500 years and is the oldest in the area. We made an appointment to have a cellar tour plus tasting. The winemakers and nonna are extremely hospital, we throughly enjoyed our visit and their wine. We purchased two bottles...More
Although it was all in Italian, we have a very and comprehensive tour of their cellar and then tasted their Arneis, Barbera, Nebbiolo, and Barbaresco. No pressure to buy (although we did), and long, and passionate explanations about many aspects of their wines. Highly recommended.

Great tasting of the many local wines from Neive. We were given a tour of the wine cellar by the owner and explanation s by his wife. Winery has been around for almost as long as the discovery of the new world. The local cheeses...More
We booked in advance. Basically, we called in the morning, asked if we could have a tour in the afternoon. It was no problem. The old woman showed us around. It seemed she was busy with something else when we arrived, but I guess customers...More
This very small wine cellar is well worth a visit ! The owners, an elderly couple who have very limited English skills try their very best to welcome you, first with a short tour of the ancient wine cellars, then onto a wine tasting. This...More
A small, authentic winery owned by a cute couple that made us feel so welcome even though their English was limited. They gave us a tour of the cave / cellar and the wine tasting had generous portions of cheese and bread sticks. They didn't...More
Neive is small. You can pretty sure get there on foot from wherever the bus stops. Ask for the church, it's 100m away from the winery and both belonged to the same Italian family in the past. Enjoy the visit!!
