An oasis of peace to relax and recharge your batteries.

What a wonderful park.
If your a runner, cyclist a walker or just want to laze in the sun this really is an oasis of peace. Fields and woodland. Wildlife too. It’s got everything except cars (unfortunately a few pass but only staff. Hire bikes and eat well at in the restaurant at Prato Pascolo.

Immense royal estate and breeding ground
Sep 2018 • Couples
Certainly one of the largest royal properties in Europe, it is now a public park with hundred kilometres of roads, foot, bridle, and cycle paths, sparse farmsteads and refreshment points. It also contains a village with a castle and other royal buildings in neo-gothic and eclectic style, a lake and a number of vast meadows, coppices, and secular trees. It is one of the last existing areas with the native trees that once covered the entire Po Valley, therefore of great naturalistic and environmental interest.

Beautiful Sunday out - Hired a bike followed by a Gelato
May 2018 • Couples
This park is definitely a mecca for walkers and bikers on a beautiful Torino day. You can hire a bike for about 3.5 euro per hour ( make sure you take some ID and a helmet if you like to wear one). We hired near the main entrance not the one near Venaria, and make sure you do not go between 12-3 to hire as they seem to be closed for lunch. The gravel paths extend for about 20 km and are beautifully tree lined .

There are a number of places to sit both near food outlets and also picnic tables. The one near the entrance Cascina Osteria looked fantastic but we were just there for a ride and ice-cream.

Another beautiful spot around Torino...
Apr 2017 • Friends
The largest enclosed parc in Europe, full with bicycle paths, Vittorio Emmanuelle 's love shack, a handful of antique cascina nested in the green, and a cooking school - the place best kept secret - where you can eat MAGNIFICENTLY for ...14 euros. No crowds, or else they are so diluted in the 3000 hectares of forests, lawns, bushes and grass plains that you won't notice them more than you do the other cute inhabitants of the park : deers, wild boars, raccoons ect...

outdoor fun: Castle visit and bicycle riding
Oct 2016 • Friends
We spent a whole day in this place. It is located just behind Venaria Reale. We parked the car at Tre Cancelli park entrance (free of charge). First we visited the Castle. It is nice and well maintained, the furniture, the tapicery on the walls... takes the visitors to baroque period. Then for lunch we went to Cascina Prato Pascolo. Good menu for relative reduced cost. We rent the bicycles at Cascina and ride around the park. In the park we discovered other interesting houses-small castles, unfortunately not so well maintained but with an interesting architecture. The park is quite big, it has a length of 33km to circle it, more than 2hours...

The one more quite is the one from Druento. there is a rent bike, a bar and camper park

Quiet place to get some rest
Apr 2016 • Family
After the palace and its park, we come to the Mandria park to get some rest and peaceful. It's very quiet and in spring it's really nice strolling the way.

Loose yourself in the nature
Sep 2015 • Business
It's a great place to walk, jog, bike or just wonder around. It's just outside of the city of Turin, no big deal to get there, even during your daily duties you can find a timeout for yourself.
Be aware of on Sundays it is packed with really noisy Italians, disrespectful of other humans' and animals' need of peace and quietness...
I shall try again to work out again on a weekday and will complete my review.
With that said, my overall sensation is super....
Only no-no is the area between the City and the park itself:it is desolating, in a state of filthyness along the streets, general shabbiness rules. But hold on, once you arrive to the park, you will be amazed😊

national park at La Mandria
Jan 2014 • Solo
quite a big park with options to travel inside by train (on road) , by horse carriage , bicycle and by walking. Very big but currently lacks basic facilities like food joints or resting places.
The palace of the queen is closed till mar14.
If you like to burn your calories, it is a vast place, otherwise not so .
