Enjoyed both films in our wonderful Kinema in the Woods. We reserved our seats to be sure of a place as the cinema is very popular.

The cinema was very quaint, decorated with old photos of movie stars, there was a full-size darleck in the foyer. It was a shame the film we went to see was rubbish

A step back in time into a wonderful old fashioned cinema. All the goodies you expect, popcorn, snacks, drinks and ice cream in tubs during the interval! Interesting foyer with life size Darlek and other memorabilia. Free parking. 2 screens open every day except Xmas...More

What an amazing place! A vintage feel and obviously well cared-for, the foyer is full of movie memorabilia. The cinema itself is wonderfully quaint, with beautiful murals, plush red swagged curtains across the screen and very comfortable seats (no cupholders though). And an Intermission! Such...More

Loved the plush interior and the dim lighting that conjured up the whole magic of the enchanting place, old photos on the walls and a little ticket kiosk. All very authentic and really stirred up your film imagination of yesteryear., before you actually sit down,...More

Wonderful little 1940’s style cinema hidden in the woods. (I think it actually dates back to the 1920’s?) First came last year during the Woodhall Spa war weekend, then brought friends this year to have a look. Great experience, shows the latest films but is...More
