I would definitely recommend Mariner Cruises because you get a lot of additional information about whales and other sea animals instead of just seeing them. The cruise is excellent in terms of service and education - thanks to Penny, Amy and the rest of the...More

We took the whale watching trip a few weeks ago and it was amazing. We saw so many humpback whales and a few up close. Excellant customer service and the staff is very knowledgable and almost as excited as the rest of us!

There are several tours on offer around Briar Island but I would highly recommend Mariner Cruises. If you want to just hop on board and go see whales any cruise will do. BUT if you want to see whales and receive great information, education and...More

A great trip with Mariner Cruises on what looked like being a not so good day due to the Move Scotian mist! Pleased they still went and gave us a super time, being spoilt with both Mother and Calf Humpbacks breaching together. Wow! We also...More

Penny and her crew went out of their way to show us a great time. She also cautioned us to get on the 10:30 a.m. ferry onto Long Island and drive straight to the Brier Island ferry. Otherwise you risk missing your cruise, as the...More

From Digby, you need to count with 1.5 hours to get to Brier Island as you will get 2 Ferries to get there. You just follow the street down the Digby Neck. We were there a 23feet Mobile Home without any problem.

Our tour lasted 3.5 hours. It was $49 per adult. The water was a bit choppy but only 1 person got queasy. If you are prone to seasickness I'd suggest bonnine or Dramamine and you'll be fine. It's such an amazing tour!
