About Hirschgrund - Zipline Area Schwarzwald
You rush through the air with a breathtaking speed. The forest shrinks beneath you, your heart jumps. The trees look like stars from above, the air stream takes daily routine away and a big portion of adrenalin is rushing through your veins. This is how we would describe a ride with the Hirschgrund Ziplines. Ok, admittedly, this is not the whole truth – in reality, ziplining feels a whole lot better. It is a little bit like an action movie in which you have the star role.

my daugther wanted to zipline, and the agenda was quite filled, Only one person fitted and she wanted to go with me, her dad. She send an email and suprise, it could be arranged. We had a wonderful and fantastic zipline experience. But we did not yet pay, because the reservation was don by team of Hirschgrund. On location we could not pay by card because of lack of telecom providers. We only had cas 5 euros less than needed and promised to pay the rest after holidays. We send an email to clientservice and they replied: "buy an icecream". What a service! We highly recommend this company and the experience. It was great.

Great adventure. Christian was very friendly and had tons of patience, he is very dedicated to his job and to the safety of his clients. A must if you are in the northern part of the black forest.

This was fun, a little expensive but would rather pay for safety and this place is quality. Guide was friendly, we all enjoyed it. Only tip... wear shoes with good tread, the hiking -while not much- was steep at points, both up and down, so flat shoes can slide.

Our family of four (two teen boys) did this together and it was a fantastic experience. We had a wonderful English speaking guide Nicolas whose calm, considered and kind manner instantly put everyone at ease. The forest is so beautiful and the opportunity to fly across the valley is just amazing. We initially emailed to check re an English speaking guide and were sent comprehensive information that really helped us to prepare, as did the online videos. Don't be put off by the initial 10 minute walk up the hill - you can do it slowly and it is fine for anyone of average fitness. The course has been very carefully designed. At the first zipline you can put your weight into the harness before taking off so you can reassure yourself that it will support you. At the next one you need to do more of a step off - then come all the fun long ziplines, many of which you take off from solid ground. At the end of the course we all just wanted to do it again - such a buzz. Thanks so much to Nicolas for guiding us (most of our group hadn't ziplined before) and thanks to his boss for designing such a fabulous course. We wish there was one like this in Australia!

It was amazing! The forest is beautiful, even thought it was cloudy, a little windy and it was about to rain. Very good trainers and equipment
